GLOBALHealthPR, the largest independent public relations organisation dedicated exclusively to healthcare communications, recently announced the release of the Global Guide to Pharma Marketing Codes. The Global Guide is designed to help pharmaceutical marketers and public relations specialists maximise opportunities in the international communications landscape. The UK partner in GLOBALHealthPR is London-based agency Aurora.
Aurora managing director Claire Eldridge explains, “The Global Guide contains information on pharmaceutical marketing regulations in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the UK and the US. The new publication provides an overview of basic promotional regulations, and answers the most frequently asked questions about what is and isn't permitted with respect to the media and third party involvement.”
This unique guide provides a reliable tool and comprehensive resource on global pharmaceutical marketing and public relations, and will continually evolve to incorporate additional countries and updated practices. The first of these will be healthcare communications information pertaining to Mexico and Argentina, and any updates to UK guidance further to the revision of The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice in July 2008.
