I Love PR - find out what love has to do with healthcare communications

What's love got to do with healthcare communications?

Welcome to 2009! We hope you had a relaxing festive period and the first few weeks back at work have been productive and fulfilling.

2009 marks a challenging and exciting year for healthcare communications. With marketing budgets having to work harder then ever before, PR agencies need to ensure that they are moving with the times and offering consultancy on everything from media relations to web 2.0 in a way that delivers targeted results and measurable return-on-investment. But how do agencies and their clients work together to achieve this and demonstrate value for their brands and organisations?

Aurora believes that successful work is delivered when it is generated in an atmosphere of passion and enthusiasm. Such environments breed creativity and innovation, allowing generation of novel and effective marketing approaches. But this is easier said than done. The strength of a working environment rests on the quality of the relationships between those involved. How can we ensure that professional relationships are based on a love of working together and achieving great results?

This year, Aurora launches I Love PR, a free five-day email course that explores why positive relationships are fundamental to delivering effective communication programmes, and how we can achieve this. The course explores issues such as the importance of chemistry and mutual respect, and how to develop trust whilst keeping the relationship exciting.

We believe that love has a lot to do with successful healthcare communications.
