At Aurora we genuinely want to make a difference to our clients’ brands and believe that a ‘happy team + happy clients = great work’. We work hard to ensure our team is happy and deliver the best work for our clients. As our company continues to grow, our team has also continued to grow in numbers. We now form one of the largest London-based healthcare teams and retain our best people for the long term.
We have a combined experience of more than 200 years in science and healthcare communications among our staff and have 50 years of degree and post degree level education in science and science related subjects alone. Our senior management team is very stable and our clients have all had the same account leadership since they first started working with us. Three members of our senior have been with Aurora right from the beginning ((Aaron Pond (Director), Sarah Nixon (Director) and Carolin Prasmo (Associate Director)). As we celebrate our 10th birthday we are also celebrating several significant workiversaries* at Aurora.
*What is a workiversary?
A workiversary is a work anniversary i.e. “Siân celebrated her eighth workiversary yesterday and got lots of free chocolates from her friends at Aurora.”
Here we put a spotlight on some of the people celebrating their workiversaries this year. Do get in touch if you would like to know more about our happy people.
Siân Hurst – Director – Siân has 20 years’ of experience in healthcare communications and has a broad skill base across both public relations and medical education. She is celebrating her eighth workiversary with us!
Rachel Terry – Director – One of Rachel’s favourite things about her role as a director is the variety of work she has the opportunity to get involved with. She is celebrating her fourth workiversary with us!
Dr Chris Hall – Account Director – Chris has enjoyed Aurora’s commitment to being different and innovative. He is one of our resident doctors with a PhD in ecotoxicology. He leads our medical education team and will be celebrating his second workiversary with us! You can read his blog about Aurora’s approach to medical education here.
Stephen O’Farrell – Senior Account Manager – Before entering healthcare communications, Stephen worked as a news journalist for two Irish national newspapers and then for a leading patient group. He believes strongly in the importance of putting the patient at the heart of everything we do. Stephen is celebrating his first workiversary with us!
